The panoramic optical view of the Milky Way Galaxy using a Minolta 28 mm lens. The central bulge of the Milky Way galaxy is seen prominently. The identical region showing the panoramic view using a radio telescope. The radio image shows the distribution of carbon monoxide molecule in the disk of our Galaxy. The intervening dust and clouds that absorb the optical radiation and that are displayed as dark patches in the optical image are themselves radiating but are imaged with a radio telescope.
