3C 353 is an elliptical radio galaxy located in the Zwicky cluster. Structurally, it is typical of radio galaxies. It has a dense core surrounded by two lobes on opposing sides of the nucleus. Radio galaxies are often found together in clusters. 3C 353 is an interesting case study because it shows some divergence from this pattern as it is not located in such a group.
